What a hidden gem. Nancy is a definite must see especially during the Christmas season. Lots of lights everywhere, things to do, neat little shops, and cool places to eat. So glad we stopped over for a couple of nights.

Loved the old town - lots of lovely old buildings and places to explore on foot - and by bus if you wish to travel further afield. The Staff in the Tourist Information Centre were very helpful (located in Place Stanislas) - we bought a City Pass which for us was good value for money. The Covered Food Market (fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and cheese etc) was great and lots of small restaurants and eateries there open for lunch.
We particularly like the Art Nouveau buildings - there is a marked tour to help visitors locate them.
A great place to visit and stay and hope to return!

A highly interesting city with beautiful baroque architecture. Lots to do and see, art exhibitions and museums. Friendly people, very helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer, but the access to our accommodation was so bad, we left early. We have never ever done this before.

Nancy is a nice compact city with lots of interesting sights, lots of history and a huge amount of Art Nouveau. IF you want a change, visit the Viell Ville( old town)...The church with all the Dukes of Lorraine buried there is fantastic.

We were planning to do a drive through Nancy on our way to Burgundy simply because my name is Nancy.
However, Nancy was a lovely surprise with one of the most beautiful main squares in Europe. There is a lot of green space around where you can rest while touring around. The tourist office offers 2 different audio tours that are very interesting & helpful to get a feel for the settlement and history of Nancy.
This historic property, parts of which date back to the early 16th century, features less than 10 rooms in total. It offers comfortable stays in the historic kernel of Nancy within a 10-15 min walk to main sites such as the Place Stanislas. The breakfast is excellent, although at the moment it is all provided by a single person. ... There is also the need to reserve one of the two available parking spots well ahead of time, as otherwise this means going to the public parking, which happens to be close by and cheaper.
We happened to get lucky, to stumble across this one. The hotels in Nancy had limited availability, due to the World Cup of Rugby. It is not a facility that is immediately noticed, but despite that, they have a great location. Also, they do have an "apartment" feel to them......there is a kitchen, with dishes and utensils, and also a refrigerator. And is also reasonably priced. I'm likely to come here again on the next visit to Nancy.
A day before our stay, we were contacted that the place is not available anymore, and they relocated us to another place owned by the same organization. The place was located in 79 rue Saint Georges, Nancy.
-The new apartment was very well located and close to everything.
-It was clean and well equipped. You could find everything you needed in the apartment.
-The check-in and check out were easy.
Beautifull hotel in the very centre of Nancy. Very near to everything. Nancy is a nice place to visit and the hotel is a perfect choice if you want to be near everything. Parking is nearby. The restaurant located inside the hotel is very nice with surprisingly (for a restaurant inside a hotel) good food. The hotel has very nice and helpfull staff.
Looked for a hotel with swimming pool on our way to the south of France, this was a match with us and our two sons. Located in very close proximity to the A31. Pretty good restaurant, very friendly staff. Plenty restaurants and chains like Burgerking and McDonalds in walking distance. Great swimming pool with toys for kids.
The location was great, not far from the train station and shopping. We are accustomed to having small beds in hotels in France. They were not large, but certainly better than some of the other hotels in the country. Beer at the bar tasted great, and was cold.
It was a stop on the way from The Netherlands to the south of France and it was perfect for a quick stop. Plenty of restaurants around. Staff very friendly. Parking easily available; streetside, parking in front of hotel or nextdoor by the restaurant.
Hotel was nicely located near the highway exit. Nice parking lot. Very spacious, modern and clean rooms with big bed, mini bar, spacious bathroom and separate toilet. Staff was really friendly, speak English very well. Great value for 1 night stay.
A very nice hotel in a walking distance to the centre of Nancy. We had 2 great appartments with two bedrooms and kitchenette. The breakfast was very good, with a great variety of food. I can recommend this hotel to everyone.
It was organized perfectly from our arrival to our departure. Our host was very communicative and made sure we had everything sorted. The apartments are localised in the center of Nancy and near every public transports.
This hotel is well located in Nancy. The room was clean and comfortable. On site secure parking was really handy! They have a nice water machine in reception that offers sparkling or still chilled water for free.
The best thing about the hotel was its location near the station. Also not too far from the centre of the city. It's relative recent construction helped it maintain a modern air.
Beds were comfortable. Good location. Staff was friendly and helpful; good to help us out, at a time there were a limited amount of hotel space in Nancy.
